The lids off the news: Chad from Broder Ost is opening a cool new eatery with his wife, Savannah. It will be in the old fro yo place next to Andrew's. We're meeting him later this week for pics and more info. For now we know it will be called Golden Goods and is being described as "A plant-based sandwich and bake shop."
Grateful Vineyard wants you to know that Thursdays are locals night. Get a pitcher and a pizza for $35 or a rootbeer and cheese pizza for $25.
Grasslands says to mark your calendars for Saturday 3/26. It will be their Hood River anniversary and they plan to celebrate with music, guest BBQ friends, a special menu, and knife sharpening. Beer from Ferment will be available.
We'll update you when donations finish coming in, but yesterday's "Dine out for Ukraine" was a HUGE success. Thank you to all the restaurants, breweries, bars, food workers, food eaters, and drink drinkers that came out to support the World Central Kitchen in its efforts to feed Ukrainian Refugees. Thus far, we're at over $17k in donations. We almost doubled our goal!
The soup food truck in the Heights, Ladle's, is closed for the season, re-opening in fall.
