Yep, we have a staffing shortage issue here in the Gorge. Just about everyone is trying to hire: Kickstand, Baseline Biscuits, Full Sail, Pfriem, Stave & Stone, 4&20 Blackbirds... the list goes on.

Here's a few ways it's affecting the region:

• Baseline Biscuits, the new biscuit shop in Parkdale, is closed until it can hire more staff. 
• Stave and Stone is temporarily closing its downtown tasting room. 
• Some area restaurants like Andrew's and Everybody's have had to adjust their schedules so that staff can have a day off. Andrew's is closed Monday's and Everybody's is closed Wednesdays. 
• Kickstand would love to open for breakfast, but just doesn't have enough staff for it at this time.
