Visiting hood river this weekend, 2/20-2/21?

Hood River is in the high risk category. That means places that are open indoors can only be at 25% of their normal capacity.

Here are a few things to know:

Well known places like Solstice and Double Mountain often have long waits. Other lesser known places may not. So either plan ahead and head somewhere near for a drink while you wait for a table or head somewhere lesser known like Fox Tail, Crush, Andrew's, or El Puerto de Angelas.
You may get stuck eating outdoors, so pack blankets, rain coats, mittens, and everything else warm! Some places offering indoor dining also have tons of outdoor tables. Some places are still outdoor dining only.
Are you gluten-free, vegan, or dairy-free? We have options! One of the most special diet-friendly places in town is Riverside. Find gluten, dairy-free, and vegan sandwiches at River Daze and pizzas at Pelinti, Andrew's, and Solstice. Tons of places carry vegan burgers, like Ferment, Riverside, and 6th Street Bistro.
If you're in the mood for Solstice and you can't get in at the river and the wait for a pizza is long -- look up the Solstice Mobile Pizza truck.

Solstice Mobile Pizza & Catering AND Solstice Wood Fire Cafe & Bar are now serving a braised elk pizza (slow cooked elk, Italian sweet peppers, house-made marinara, Fontina, Pecorino Romano & cilantro)
Volcanic Bottle Shoppe has expanded its outdoor seating recently.
Across the river, Henni's Kitchen & Bar has been serving up a weekly dinner box. It runs ~$35 and includes a few courses with optional dessert and cocktail add ons sometimes. Henni's is also offering a Valentine's to-go Brunch for $100. For the full menu, please see their website: http://www.henniskitchenandbar.com/
Since we're on Valentine's, you have until Monday to order Valentine's dinner from Celilo Restaurant and Bar, see the photo above for the full menu. Dinner runs $75 and feeds 2 people. The menu includes Salmon, Prime rib, and more. You can also add dessert, appetizers, and a bottle of wine.
Down the road in Cascade Locks, Thunder Island Brewing Company is celebrating February with a Lunar New Year menu that includes spring rolls, orange tofu or chicken, noodle salad, and more.
Also in Cascade Locks, the Brigham Fish market has been serving up sturgeon fish and chips.
On Valentine's, Dutch Bros Coffee will be donating $1 from each drink to FISH Community Food Bank
Also, Dutch Bros Coffee won't be taking stamp cards after March so head up to the stand to turn in your cards for free drinks or half/off drinks (if a card has 5 stamps or less, you get half off. If it has 6 or more, you get the whole drink for free).
Mount Hood BBQ will be opening up on Hwy 35 in Parkdale sometime this spring or summer (in addition to the Biscuit and Ice Cream place that will be going into the old Blue Canoe space).
