With a spring in our step and love in our hearts, it’s going to be a fantastic weekend to celebrate Mother’s Day.
 
Mother’s Day Happenings

• Grateful Vineyard will have live music from 3-5pm Sunday afternoon. While you’re there, visit the beautiful u-pick tulip field, where you get five free tulips if you buy ten.
• Divots is hosting a Mother's Day Brunch Buffet this Sunday from 10am-2pm, reservations recommended.
• Love & Hominy will be open for Mother's Day Brunch from 9am-1pm on Sunday.
• Working Hands is open for brunch from 10am-2pm.
• Hood River Common House is opening early on Sunday to serve Mimosas & Cookies with Evergreen Treats.
• Riverside Restaurant is offering a Mother’s Day menu with seatings from noon-7pm.
• Simon’s Cliff House at the Columbia Gorge Hotel will have a Mother’s Day Brunch from 11am-3pm.
• At the Maryhill Winery tasting room in Goldendale all mothers visiting on Sunday will receive a glass of sparkling wine on the house. They will also have a special quiche on the menu.
• Backwoods Brewing in Carson will have Charcuterie and Champagne Brunch Platters from 10:30am-2:30pm on Sunday.
• Dani’s Kitchen is raffling off a Mother’s Day gift basket at their pop-up shop Friday from 10am-2pm.
• Baseline Biscuits will be open 7am-2pm on Mother's Day with their updated summer menu.
• Apple Valley BBQ will be open 11am-8pm on Mother's Day. The special will be their famous pot pie.

Other Tidbits

• The Skamania County Sip & Stroll is this Saturday May 13 from noon - 5pm. This festival showcases local shops and restaurants along with the amazing array of craft beverages in our region.  Stroll through downtown Stevenson stopping at various businesses to enjoy beer, wine, mead and whiskey tastings.
• Edeske Patisserie is holding their grand opening celebration Saturday, May 13 at 2pm.
• Congratulations to Gorges Tortes for celebrating its first birthday! Find their desserts and free samples at the Hood River Farmers’ Market this Saturday.
• Tierra de Lobos Winery will celebrate its sixth anniversary on Saturday with wine specials, yard games, and other activities. Mom will be cooking tacos and papusas.
• Bestie Bowls is moving! Starting May 18 you can find them in the parking lot behind Ferment next to Grasslands Barbecue. They will be open Thursday through Sunday 11am-6pm.
• Mt. Hood Creamery is open weekends until 5pm, and anytime Baseline Biscuits is open. Yes, that means you can get their small batch hand crafted ice cream at 7am.
