Solstice Now Serving Pizza and Soft-Serve out of Mobile Kitchen in the Heights

News time! The Solstice Mobile Pizza Kitchen has set up shop in the Heights. Look for it near the hot tub store, in that empty lot where Christmas trees are sold in winter. 

Now, the exciting thing about this is that the truck is offering two things regular Solstice doesn't: soft-serve ice cream and slice. Yep, you can roll up after a hike up the Indian Creek trail and dig in to a slice of pizza, a salad, and a chocolate-vanilla swirl cone covered in cookie crumbles. 

A few highlights from the menu include: 

• A double slice and salad combo ($12-13)
• A sundae with caramel sauce, toffee, and cookie crumbles
• Whole pizzas

On the pizza front, the cart/truck is serving up almost the same menu as the waterfront: the Solstice (Canadian Bacon, pineapple-chutney, shredded mozzarella, & jalapeno crema sauce), a veggie pizza, a meat pizza, a pepperoni pizza, a cheese, the Siragusa Pear Pizza (pears, bleu cheese, caramelized onions, shredded mozzarella & an olive oil base), and the Country Girl Cherry Pizza (cherries, house made chorizo sausage, goat cheese, shredded mozzarella, & marinara). The only pie you can't get in the heights is the margherita pizza. 

Order online or at the truck. If you're getting frozen treats, they recommend waiting to order in-person. No delivery from this location.
