hood river updates

  • Solstice Mobile Pizza & Catering has moved back to the Heights.
  • The pumpkin patch is open at Packer Orchards as is the corn maze. To participate, purchase a "farm access pass" ticket online at packerorchards.com first. You'll need to pick a date and time for your visit when you buy your pass.
  • The Pescatarian Cafe is has added soup to its menu now that it's fall. It changes daily.
  • Pine Street Bakery is making some changes to ordering. Now, instead of ordering at their window, you can order inside. It's still set up as grab-and-go/takeout. No dining-in at this time.
  • Crush Cider Cafe is weatherizing for winter. As you may know, due to COVID, they closed indoor dining and set up extra picnic tables in the parking lot. The picnic tables are now covered and fire pits are out to keep diners warm. Crush also added a canning machine a few months ago, as well, so if you don't want to brave the weather this fall, you can have your cider canned fresh from the tap right as you order it.
  • Happy Hour is back at Andrew's Pizza & Bakery. You can get a slice and a pint for $8.75 from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. Andrew's also opened its movie theater again, the Skylight Theater. This weekend (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday), catch Hocus Pocus, Coco, or The War with Grandpa.
  • Tilly Janes introduced a new/updated menu last week. Find the new menu on their Facebook page.

  • The Moth Lounge is no longer in business.

  • Treebird Farm took over the Mother's Marketplace space, also near Tum-A-Lum Lumber at 106 HWY-35, Hood River. At the market, you'll find fresh produce, groceries, dairy, meats, vegan items, fresh bread from White Salmon baking, and lunch items.
