Mark your calendars for a weekend full of fall flavors at the 41st Annual Hood River Valley Harvest Fest. This three day festival October 13-15 at the Hood River Event Site is a celebration of the bounty of the Hood River Valley. At this year's Harvest Fest you can find apples, pears, local treats, and more all on display for locals and visitors to enjoy.
Here are six must-see booths at this year's Harvest Fest for food enthusiasts:

• Kiyokawa Family Orchards: Situated at the front of the event, you can't miss the Kiyokawa booth, and you won't want to! The impressive amount and variety of apples grown in the Hood River Valley all will be on display for festival goers to enjoy.
• Pear Bloom Farm : For those who love pears, be sure to visit the Pear Bloom Farm booth. This Hood River Valley farm uses regenerative agriculture to grow the most wonderful Asian pears that have a sweet flavor and a crispy texture.
• Urban German: If you are looking for a savory hand held snack to hit the spot as you wander the festival, stop by the food truck Urban German. The menu has a variety of bratwurst sausage options to choose from. ​

• Tacos Pepe: For a heartier festival meal experience, visit Tacos Pepe for their tacos, burritos and more to satisfy your hunger. 
• B's Sweets: As you explore the vendors at the marketplace section of the festival, stop by B sweet. Here you will find delicious treats baked with culinary lavender and locally grown fruit. Items to look for this weekend are Apple Cider Cinnamon Rolls, Lavender Lemon Tartlets, Apple Frangipane Tartlets, and Pumpkin Fig Scones.
• Good Medicine Tea: This local, family owned company creates teas for every occasion. Favorites are “Warm Hugs”, “sniffles”, and the “Chai divine”.
