In Season: Mocktails

Craft a Mocktail That Fits Your Vibe

By Janice Bell of Arome Kitchen, Hood River

Dry January begs for sophistication this year. Skip the sugary sodas and craft a mocktail that fits your vibe. Grab a bottle of Dromme Calm if you’re looking for a post-mountain wind down, or fancify your gatherings with Wilderton’s locally made Citrus Apertivo.

Whatever you do, we’re wishing you happiness this New Year!

Instructions:

Combine apple slices and balsamic vinegar in a mason jar or other sealed container. Refrigerate for a minimum of 1 hour, and up to several days ahead.

Fill a serving container with a handful of ice, the apple/vinegar mixture, and Dromme Calm Zero Proof spirits. Top with seltzer and serve.
