American Craft Beer Week is here, and Full Sail Brewing Co. has just dropped the Riverside Rye Golden Ale! The latest Pub Exclusive on tap (506 Columbia St., Hood River) is a unique, easy-drinking golden ale with bready aromas, white pepper spice, and a crisp, minty finish.
Sake fans, take note: Sushi Okalani (109 1st St, Hood River) has new small-batch Japanese sake specials pouring now, including rare unpasteurized selections from historic breweries in Kyoto and coastal Niigata.
Big news for bread lovers: Bran & Ash Bakehouse is opening a brick-and-mortar storefront in downtown Hood River, with a grand opening celebration planned for May 17 at 2 pm featuring wine from Costarossa Farm. 112 7th Street.

Brigham Fish Market (681 Wa Na Pa St, Cascade Locks) is now scooping a new soft-serve flavor: Cold Brew Gelato.
Columbia Gorge Crepes is now serving coffee, with a full espresso menu, house-made syrups and cold foams, plus fun May specials like Teddy Bear and Banana Bread lattes. Over the next week, you can find them at the Hood River Farmers Market on Saturdays 9 am – 1 pm, and Hope Ranch Lavender 5/20-5/22, 11 am – 2 pm.
Hood River Farmers Market is welcoming new vendors this season. Alongside Columbia Gorge Crepes and Grasslands Barbecue, you’ll now find A Squared Hill Farm, a local vegetable farm in Hood River, Mother Mullein Herbs from Mt Hood, OR, growing medicinal and culinary herbs, flowers and vegetables, and Feather Oak Farm in Husum, WA, a vegetable and fruit farm practicing regenerative, organic growing.
