ShaSha Pops Is Popping Up at Soca

Looking for a cool treat after work? ShaSha Pops will be popping up at Soca Wine Shop in downtown Hood River on Thursday, June 18, from 5–7 PM. Stop by for handcrafted popsicles and a glass of wine while you browse.

Oysters & Solstice at Domaine Pouillon

Father's Day weekend meets summer solstice at Domaine Pouillon Wine Bistro in Lyle. Join them Sunday, June 21, from 2–5 PM for fresh Hama Hama oysters alongside their full bistro menu and Columbia River views. Bistro Hours: Thursday–Sunday, 11 AM–6 PM

New Summer Desserts at Riverside

Riverside Restaurant has added two seasonal favorites to its dessert menu. Look for Strawberry Shortcake and Raspberry Cheesecake, both showcasing some of summer's most beloved flavors.

If you've been waiting for pie cherries, your moment has arrived. Pearl's Place Fruit Stand has announced that fresh pie cherries will be available starting this weekend.

Apple Valley Country Store is blending up fresh Hood strawberries into old-fashioned milkshakes. Strawberry season is short, so grab one while they last.

Thursday Pizza Night with Stovepipe Sourdough

Stovepipe Sourdough will be serving handmade sourdough pizzas at The Inn of the White Salmon on Thursday, June 18, from 5–9 PM. Pair your pie with Ridge of Wonders wine and enjoy live music for a laid-back summer evening.

Three New Vegan Cookies at Golden Goods Sandwich Shop

A collaboration between Golden Goods (Hood River) and Lulu Food Place has brought three new vegan cookie flavors to Oak Street in Hood River:

  • Miso Toffee – Brown sugar cookie with miso toffee, black sesame seeds, and flake salt.

  • Pineapple Guava – Sugar cookie filled with pineapple guava compote, rolled in coconut and topped with dried pineapple.

  • Mango Calamansi – Sugar cookie filled with mango compote and calamansi lime curd, rolled in coconut and finished with coconut calamansi icing.

New Summer Cocktails at pFriem

pFriem Family Brewers has unveiled two creative seasonal cocktails designed for warm-weather sipping.

  • Neon Night Market: Inspired by the energy of a Bangkok street market, this cocktail combines guava-infused cachaça, makrut lime leaf, Thai basil, coconut, and bird's-eye chili for a bright, tropical experience.

  • Paradise in Bloom: A tropical blend of rhum agricole, Caribbean rums, elderflower, mango, and pineapple, finished with a dramatic hibiscus rum float that slowly blooms through crushed ice.

And lastly, Solstice Pizza is celebrating its 20th annual Summer Solstice this Sunday, June 21st, at the cafe! Fire dancing starts at 9:00 PM in front of the Hood River waterfront patio!

Look for giveaways throughout the day plus look for their new cheesy summer menu items like the Burrata salad with local snap peas, house-made pea puree, mint, sweet cherries, peach vinegar & pistachios.
