Dani’s Kitchen Shop Juneteenth Cookies

Summer is officially here—and so is cherry season, holidays, and a fresh lineup of new sips and sandwiches.

There’s a celebration honoring the best of beautiful Black culture happening today at Jackson Park in Hood River from 3 to 9 PM, and Dani’s Kitchen Shop will showcase delicious and festive Juneteenth cookies for the celebration. Come join in the community gathering, music, food, and joy.

Summer Solstice at Solstice Pizza
Solstice Pizza is now open 7 days a week, 11 AM–9 PM. To celebrate the Summer Solstice, they’re hosting two fire dancing performances on Friday, June 20, at 5:30 PM and 8:30 PM with performers @shireenflame & @spinningspades. They’ve picked their first 17 lbs of sustainably farmed Black Pearl cherries to kick start the fresh cherry season at the cafe this Friday!

🐟 High Five, Herman!
Ferment Brewing + Oregon Wildlife Foundation will release a special IPA celebrating Herman the Sturgeon! The High Five, Herman! IPA launch party is Saturday, June 22, at Ferment. A portion of the proceeds benefits Oregon Wildlife Foundation—and it’s the first time it will be offered in 16oz 4-packs.

Idiot’s Grace Farm’s Airstream u-pick stand is open for cherry-picking 9:00 to 1:00 most weekdays and 9:00 to 5:00 on Fridays and weekends.

The Idiot’s Grace Winery tasting room will remain open late (until 7:00 PM) on Friday, June 20, and Friday, June 27, to sell field-run cherries straight from the picking bin.

The Pines 1852 has teamed up with local businesses for a fun summer giveaway. Get the deets on their feed. Plus, their Wine pick-up party is this Saturday, June 21st. Free for club members | $20 for guests. Kids under 12 are free. Includes a reception splash, a glass of wine, & light charcuterie. Bring a picnic and kick back with friends!
