Thursday Tidbits
Hood River Farmers Market Produce
We’re kicking things off with a big shoutout to our local farmers’ markets, because…
It’s National Farmers Market Week! Running August 3–9, this nationwide celebration honors the markets and organizations that keep our communities fed and connected. Gorge Grown Food Network connects local farmers, makers, and communities—and helps build a more resilient, regional food system.
Their work supports small farms, increases food access, and brings people together over delicious, locally grown produce and handmade goods. So, this week, stop by your local market, pick up something fresh and seasonal, and give a little love to the folks behind the booths—and behind the scenes.
