While spring’s weather may still be fickle, we’re excited for the warming days ahead—and this week’s tidbits are full of reasons to get out and enjoy the Gorge. From pizza and wine in the hills to fresh seasonal dishes, new beers, and upcoming events, there’s plenty to add to your calendar.
Stovepipe Sourdough Pizza is kicking off the season with two days at COR Cellars this Saturday and Sunday, April 25–26, from 12–5 pm during COR’s Spring Wine Club Weekend. All are welcome. Hike among the wildflowers, then settle in for pizza and wine after. 151 Old Highway 8, Lyle, WA.
This is also the final weekend of Gorge Club Share. If you’re a club member at any of the 23 participating wineries, stop by one—or two or three—for complimentary tastings and membership perks.

Solstice Pizza has introduced a beautiful spring pasta: fresh linguine with basil-cashew pesto, local asparagus, roasted tomatoes, white wine, lemon, and Grana Padano.

Looking ahead:
Columbia Gorge Crepes will be at Hope Ranch Lavender (2585, Fir Mountain Rd., Hood River, OR), on May 1 from 3–6 pm, celebrating five years. The first 50 guests receive free crepe noodles and a ticket for a free menu item.
